Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Berezna municipality, situated along the Snov and Desna rivers in Chernihiv region, encompasses 17 localities organised into four starosta districts. The municipality’s economy features a resilient, diversified profile that seamlessly blends industrial manufacturing and productive agriculture with active local trade and an expanding service sector. Culturally, the municipality boasts exceptional heritage assets, being the birthplace of legendary composer Hryhorii Veriovka, home to Ukraine’s only rural Singing Field, and the origin of the "Berezna Gingerbread," which is officially recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Furthermore, the territory preserves monumental architectural landmarks of national significance, including the 1788 Holy Trinity Church in Bihach and the 1693 Domnytsia Monastery, representing the rare Mazepa Baroque and classicism eras. For international donors, heritage organisations, and private investors, Berezna offers an institutionally capable and culturally rich platform ideal for strategic partnerships in sustainable green tourism, historical conservation, and eco-friendly agro-industrial development.
