Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Dubove municipality, located in the mountainous Teresva River valley of Zakarpattia region, covers 198.5 km2 across five localities: Dubove, Kalyny, Krasna, Nyzhnii Dubovets, and Vyshnii Dubovets.
The municipality possesses extensive natural resources, with forests covering approximately 79% of its territory. This provides substantial potential for sustainable forestry, advanced wood processing, eco-tourism, and renewable energy development. Strategically positioned in eastern Zakarpattia, the municipality serves as a vital administrative and service hub for neighboring mountain municipalities, hosting central educational facilities, a vocational college, kindergartens, and the Dubove Hospital.
The municipality is focused on attracting international investments and donor partnerships. Priority areas of cooperation include energy efficiency, municipal wastewater treatment, healthcare modernisation, and the development of sustainable tourism infrastructure.
