Horodkivka municipality, located 140 km from Vinnytsia, serves as a prominent agricultural and industrial centre in Vinnytsia region. Historically, the municipality’s economy is anchored in large-scale farming and a powerful sugar production industry.
The municipality’s economic profile features high-quality soil resources that provide opportunities for value-added grain processing and grain elevator enterprises. Its major sugar refinery offers a solid industrial foundation for expanding food processing sectors and deploying innovative green energy projects. Additionally, the municipality supports a well-developed social sector, using its educational, cultural, and medical networks to deliver high-quality services to local residents and internally displaced persons.
Focused on deep internal modernisation, the local administration is actively digitalising public services via the DREAM ecosystem, upgrading local safety systems, and creating a comfortable, barrier-free environment. The municipality is seeking strategic international partnerships and donor support to fund infrastructure recovery, advance educational initiatives, and develop its sustainable agro-industrial potential.
