Vasylkiv municipality is located just 30 km south of Kyiv and comprises 19 villages alongside its administrative centre, the city of Vasylkiv. Its diverse economic landscape features around 6,000 businesses operating across key sectors such as light industry, food production, woodworking, and agriculture. The municipality is well-connected by excellent transport infrastructure, which includes a local railway station and the M05 national highway that forms part of Pan-European Corridor No. 9. Residents benefit from a robust social infrastructure that includes the Vasylkiv Multispecialty Hospital of Intensive Care, local sports stadiums, a veteran hub, and a dedicated rehabilitation centre for children with disabilities. To support its ongoing growth and development, the municipality actively maintains international partnerships with various municipalities across Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Italy, Spain, and Lithuania.
