Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

The Berehomet municipality, positioned along the terraced plain of the Seret River valley in the Chernivtsi region, features a distinct geographical profile where the Precarpathian foothills transition into the Carpathian Mountains. The community’s economy is anchored by rich natural resources, including extensive beech and fir forest ecosystems covering nearly a third of the region, alongside three active energy deposits - the Slavetske and Sheremetivske gas fields and the Lopushnyanske oil field. Boasting top-tier tourism and recreational capital, Berehomet is home to the renowned Myhove ski resort, complemented by historic architectural landmarks linked to the prominent noble Vasylko family. For international donors, development funds, and private investors, the municipality offers an institutionally prepared platform with diverse economic drivers, exceptionally well-suited for public-private partnerships in sustainable forestry, eco-tourism infrastructure, green energy development, and cultural heritage preservation.
