Comprising 32 well-integrated localities with a permanent population of 9,806 residents, the municipality sits just 8 kilometres from the district centre of Okhtyrka, using highly efficient regional transport links to maintain deep economic and logistical ties across northeastern Ukraine.
The economic foundation of the municipality is strongly anchored by high-yield agriculture, robust forestry, and an active network of small, medium, and municipality-owned enterprises. Backed by extensive land resources and available industrial brownfield and greenfield production sites, Chernechchyna offers high readiness for value-added agro-processing and logistics hubs.
