Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The municipality is rich in land and forest resources and has significant reserves of high-quality clay (a building material), peat, and water bodies. Of particular value are the fertile soils, which contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.
The agro-industrial complex is the foundation of the local economy. In addition to traditional crop farming, the region has historically been a recognised centre for the cultivation and primary processing of industrial hemp and flax (the Institute of Bast Crops is located here).
The municipality has a strong educational and scientific foundation, the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, the Agricultural Technical Institute, and research institutions.
In addition, the municipality invites investors and donors to participate in the construction of dual-purpose shelters equipped with commercial hubs in a secure environment.
