Korosten municipality is a premier industrial and logistical hub built around one of Ukraine's largest railway junctions.
The local economy is driven by a strong business sector comprising 2,577 individual entrepreneurs and 866 legal entities, anchored by the successfully operating Korosten Industrial Park and key sectors like machine building, woodworking, and food processing. Its rich natural and cultural profile includes valuable granite deposits along the Uzh River, the historic Drevlyansky Park, and a well-preserved social network of 28 schools and a major cluster hospital.
Boasting an extensive network of sister cities and proven experience in managing European infrastructure grants, the municipal administration offers high institutional capacity for international donor projects and greenfield investments.
