Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Kryzhopil municipality consists of 19 settlements and is home to over 18,000 residents, including nearly 1,700 displaced people. A massive advantage is its position on the strategic Kyiv–Odesa railway corridor, which gives the area excellent logistics links for trade and transport.
The local economy relies heavily on a strong farming and industrial sector, with large food-processing factories and grain storage hubs handling over 20,000 hectares of agricultural land.
The municipality is very forward-thinking with green energy, already running solar power stations at local schools and a 200kW solar setup at the municipal water utility. For international donors and investors, the local council is a reliable partner eager to collaborate on infrastructure modernisation, agro-processing, and social support projects.
