Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Lozova municipality, the largest amalgamated municipality in Kharkiv region, acts as a crucial industrial, railway, and agricultural hub with a population of over 90,000 residents, including nearly 14,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs). Located 77 kilometers from the combat zone, the territory has faced severe combat impact, sustaining 218 strikes that damaged hundreds of residential buildings, 87 social spaces, and 78 critical infrastructure facilities. Despite these heavy losses, the municipality continues to fully operate its comprehensive network of public utilities, ensuring heat, water, road maintenance, and essential services for the population. Lozova plays a vital humanitarian role by managing compact residential centres and a highly effective transit evacuation point that has supported more than 30,000 displaced citizens.
