Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Novohrodivka municipality, located in Donetsk region, comprises 15 settlements. Despite severe operational challenges caused by the war, the municipality maintains a focus on future recovery, stabilization, and international cooperation.
The local leadership has practical experience in managing social and infrastructure initiatives. Current municipal priorities are focused entirely on the restoration of war-damaged critical infrastructure, comprehensive support and integration for internally displaced persons (IDPs), and the maintenance of essential education, healthcare, and cultural services.
For international donors, development agencies, and relief organisations, this frontline municipality serves as a direct partner for targeted humanitarian response, critical utility modernisation, and transparent reconstruction planning.
