Prysyvaska municipality, encompassing 399 square kilometres along the coast of the Syvash Lagoon in Kherson region, has a highly specialised economic profile rooted in renewable energy, balneological tourism, and agriculture. The municipality is home to the Lemurian Pink Lake, a globally unique natural site rich in high-salinity minerals, and hosted the Syvash Wind Power Plant, which stood as one of the largest wind energy developments in southern Ukraine prior to 2022.

Since February 2022, the municipality's home territory has been under temporary military occupation. In response, the local council has successfully transitioned to remote operations, maintaining high institutional capacity to coordinate welfare services for its displaced residents, manage institutional partnerships, and systematically draft comprehensive post-war recovery frameworks.
