Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Spas municipality is located in Ivano-Frankivsk region, in a relatively safe area of Western Ukraine. The community benefits from a favourable geographical position near the Carpathian region, with access to natural resources, forested areas, and clean environment, which creates potential for eco-tourism and sustainable development projects.
The local economy is mainly based on agriculture, small-scale farming, forestry, and household production. There is also potential for development of green tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises, and value-added agricultural processing. The municipality has available land resources and a motivated local population, including internally displaced persons, which can support workforce needs.
Key attractive factors for investors, donors, and international partners include:
-stable security situation (rear area);
-proximity to transport routes in Western Ukraine;
-natural and ecological potential (forests, rural landscapes);
-opportunities for renewable energy and agro-processing projects;
