Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Staryi Saltiv municipality is located in the Chuhuiv District of Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine, situated on the banks of the Siverskyi Donets River and near the Pechenihy Reservoir. Due to its favourable geographical location, extensive water resources, forests, and picturesque landscapes, the area has significant natural, recreational, and tourism potential. Although the municipality was affected by the russian invasion and experienced occupation in 2022, it has since been de-occupied and is actively implementing development initiatives. Currently, the reconstruction of social infrastructure, housing, utilities, water supply systems, energy infrastructure, and civil protection facilities remains a top priority. Looking ahead, the municipality offers available land resources and attractive investment opportunities in agricultural processing, renewable energy, logistics, tourism, and infrastructure modernisation.
