Historically known for its strategic location, the area boasts rich agricultural lands and picturesque riverside landscapes. Due to the ongoing russian invasion and aggressive military actions, the municipality has been heavily affected by frontline hostilities, causing severe damage to its local infrastructure and civilian homes. Despite these major challenges, the municipality remains focused on enduring the crisis, supporting its remaining residents, and preparing comprehensive recovery plans for its post-war reconstruction.
