Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Velyki Budyshcha municipality is located in the forest-steppe zone of the northern Poltava region, encompassing 20 flat-relief settlements situated up to 42 km from its administrative centre. The territory features highly fertile black soil that supports its primary agricultural profile, which focuses heavily on livestock breeding and the cultivation of cereals, legumes, and industrial crops. Beyond farming, the area is rich in natural resources, possessing valuable mineral deposits including oil, natural gas, peat, sand, and building materials. The municipality also boasts an exceptional tourist and historical appeal, home to prominent architectural monuments such as the Knyshivske hillfort, the Masyukov Manor, and several historic churches. This cultural heritage is celebrated through three registered tourist routes and the popular annual "Hadyatske Safari Marathon", showcasing vibrant potential for active and historical tourism.
