Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Irshava municipality is located in Zakarpattia region, in the foothills of the Carpathians, near the border with European Union countries. It enjoys a favourable geographical location for international cooperation and business development.
The municipality is home to enterprises in the processing, light, woodworking, and extractive industries, as well as agriculture. During the war, enterprises from other regions of Ukraine relocated to the municipality, which has supported local employment and economic activity.
The municipality possesses rich natural resources, forests, and recreational areas, creating strong potential for tourism and leisure. There are also significant opportunities for investment in industry, energy, and infrastructure modernisation.
