Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Novomyrhorod municipality is located in the Kirovohrad region of central Ukraine, benefiting from a central geographical position with direct access to regional transport corridors. The local economy is driven by a strong agricultural sector supported by highly fertile soils, a developed farming network, and expanding small and medium-sized enterprises.
The municipality features viable conditions for food processing, logistics hubs, and renewable energy projects. Following the influx of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the local administration is focused on creating inclusive social services and implementing long-term municipal development strategies.
Current priorities for international cooperation and donor funding are strictly targeted at the modernisation of water supply and wastewater treatment systems, energy efficiency upgrades, digital transformation, and environmental protection projects. With a structured approach to strategic planning, the municipality offers a transparent and stable platform for international organisations and development agencies focused on rural utility infrastructure and economic resilience.
