Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Bochechky municipality, situated in Sumy region near a regional railway hub, uses a productive agricultural economy specialised in high-yield cereals, legumes, and oilseed crops cultivated on fertile Left Bank soils. The municipality’s economic profile features a unique blend of active livestock farming and an innovative deer farm that bridges traditional agribusiness with high-potential tourism, alongside localised artisanal food enterprises and a rich natural environment within the Mutynskyi Bor forests and Seym River basin. Operating with proven social resilience, the local administration provides fully integrated housing, healthcare, and educational infrastructure for internally displaced persons, demonstrating strong institutional stability and community solidarity.
To drive further development, the municipality actively offers available land plots and streamlined regulatory support for private investors looking to capitalise on its excellent logistics for wood processing, honey production, and small-scale value-added industries. Currently, a top-tier infrastructural priority for the local government is securing international donor funding and grant partnerships for the construction of a modern municipal Safety Centre. For international development agencies, humanitarian funds, and private investors, Bochechky municipality presents an exceptionally transparent, high-readiness platform primed for strategic public-private partnerships in emergency response infrastructure, green logistics, and sustainable rural recovery.
