Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Chortkiv municipality has a strategic transport and railway location close to five EU borders, supporting a diversified economy with over 1,900 active businesses and major exporters. A key driver for investment is the 87.68-hectare "Chortkiv-West" Industrial Park, which is currently expanding its utility infrastructure to accommodate new manufacturing and logistics projects. Backed by 14 international sister cities and partnerships with major donors like NEFCO and the Norwegian Government, the municipality has secured UAH 366 million in grants (2022–2025) for large-scale energy efficiency, social housing, and infrastructure modernization.
