Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Kakhovka municipality, currently adapting its operational management under complex wartime displacement, is looking for forward-thinking international partners, twin cities, and global funds to cooperate in targeted restoration and capacity-building initiatives.
The municipality seeks institutional and expert support to gain strategic advice on municipal master-planning, sustainable urban design, and alignment with European standards in local self-government. This cooperation is designed to build high-level administrative capacity ahead of future reconstruction processes.
To sustain its displaced infrastructure, the municipality requires material and technical assistance. Immediate priorities include securing tools, electronic equipment, and 3D-printing components for humanitarian equipment production, as well as logistical support for youth sports programmes. Concurrently, the administration is preparing emergency technical packages to ensure rapid stabilisation during the post-deoccupation period.
On the investment front, the municipality is highly focused on co-funding and investment opportunities. The local team maintains full readiness to engage in joint grant applications for EU-funded programmes. The municipality aims to establish long-term investment commitments with international partners to restore Kakhovka’s destroyed industrial, agricultural, and green energy facilities as soon as security conditions permit.
