Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Kamianske municipality is situated along the H-09 Mukachevo–Rakhiv highway, enjoying a favourable geographical position in close proximity to the European Union border.
The municipality’s economy is anchored by a diverse agricultural and light industrial sector. Key economic activities include the cultivation of grain crops such as winter wheat, barley, corn, and millet, alongside commercial vegetable gardening, viticulture, and hazelnut cultivation. The territory also supports industrial manufacturing, notably brick production, and offers vacant municipal land plots well-suited for the implementation of innovative greenfield and brownfield business projects.
A significant asset for international partners is the municipality's high institutional capacity and proven experience in international cooperation, including the successful management of grant programmes and the execution of development initiatives funded by donor organizations.
Furthermore, the territory possesses outstanding potential for historical and eco-tourism. The local administration is looking to use unique local landmarks, such as the historic Borzhavska narrow-gauge railway and an 8th–9th century Slavic settlement site, to attract targeted investments into modern recreational infrastructure and sustainable tourism.
