Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Klishkivtsi municipality, located in Chernivtsi region 40 km from the regional centre, benefits from transport connections to central Ukraine and European Union border crossings. The municipality’s economy is anchored by intensive agriculture — specifically large-scale fruit gardening, apple and nut production — alongside a developed woodworking industry that exports timber and furniture. Local business development and foreign investments are actively coordinated through a dedicated Economic Growth Centre established with the support of the European Union. Rich natural assets, including the Dniester River, local mineral springs, and the heritage of Ukraine's first cosmonaut Leonid Kadeniuk, offer high potential for green tourism and eco-entrepreneurship. For international partners, the municipality provides available land plots and a skilled workforce, focusing future cooperation on infrastructure thermal modernisation, agro-processing, and green energy transition.
