Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Kosiv municipality serves as a major gateway to the picturesque Carpathian Mountains. The municipality is a famous centre of Hutsul culture, and its traditional painted ceramics are officially protected on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
