Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Due to its favourable territorial and geographical location, the Kostopil municipality is investment-attractive, with a developed industrial sector and moderately developed agriculture.
Industry is the most important structural component of the municipality’s economic system.
Several powerful industrial enterprises operate within the territory, employing a significant number of people. In particular, the 11 largest enterprises provide jobs for more than 2,500 employees and are part of the so-called "Large Circle of the Oblast."
These enterprises produce approximately 8.5–9% of the region’s total industrial output.
The leading sectors include wood processing industry, glass manufacturing, and the food industry.
