Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Lanchyn municipality located in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, on a vital transport corridor with easy access to the H-09 highway, providing excellent logistics links across western Ukraine and towards EU borders.
The economy of the municipality is driven by wood processing, retail, and agriculture, with natural conditions that are ideal for growing industrial crops like flax. Natural assets include the Prut River, large mixed forests, and a unique cascade of 12 ponds that offers fantastic opportunities for commercial fish farming and eco-tourism. The local council is eager to connect with international partners for green economic initiatives and infrastructure modernisation.
