Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Nova Kakhovka municipality is one of the largest administrative units in Kherson region, spanning both banks of the Dnipro River within the steppe zone. Prior to its destruction, the Kakhovka Reservoir was located adjacent to the municipality's administrative centre.
The local economic structure historically included 14 industrial enterprises and 36 agro-industrial operations.
Currently, the local leadership has mapped out 15.2 hectares of land divided into 5 investment-ready sites, including one brownfield property. The municipality has prepared 4 distinct project proposals targeting the placement of manufacturing facilities, the construction of waste-processing capacities, and hotel infrastructure development. For international donors and recovery organisations, these plans provide a baseline for future utility modernisation and post-occupation economic reconstruction.
