Oleksandriia city municipality, located in Kirovohrad region, serves as an industrial and machine-building hub with deep roots in lignite coal mining and processing. The municipality has established official international municipal partnerships with several foreign cities, including Xinyang in China, Jarocin in Poland, and Bath in the United Kingdom. Local authorities actively focus on international cooperation to foster investment in green energy transitions, municipal modernisation, and industrial park development. Strategically positioned at the crossroads of major national rail and road transportation corridors, the municipality functions as a logistical transit point in central Ukraine. The municipality actively implements social resilience initiatives specifically aimed at the comprehensive rehabilitation of veterans and support for their families.
