Vilnohirsk municipality, situated in the Kamianske district of Dnipropetrovsk region. Formed in 2020, the municipality integrates the highly industrialised city of Vilnohirsk with the 10 rural settlements of the Dmytrivka Starosta district, blending rich mineral resources with an expansive manufacturing base.
The local economy is heavily defined by its world-class extractive industry, driven by major enterprises such as the Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (UMCC) and the Motronivskyi Mining and Processing Plant. These operations tap into unique, high-grade deposits of titanium-zirconium minerals, quartz sands, and refractory clays, producing vital industrial zircon, rutile, and ilmenite concentrates for domestic and global markets. Complementing this raw-material dominance, the municipality hosts one of Ukraine’s largest glass-manufacturing clusters through Vilnohirsk Glass LLC and Glass Alliance LLC, which collectively manufacture over 600 million glass containers annually.
