Located in Kharkiv region, Rohan municipality directly borders the city of Kharkiv, offering an advantageous geographical position for the development of logistics, industry, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Diverse economic and social profile is built upon the pulp and paper industry, agriculture, and a strong foundation in education and science, alongside a comprehensive, pre-approved Spatial Development Plan that enhances its investment appeal. Despite suffering significant destruction and partial occupation in 2022, the local administration successfully maintains its capacity, provides essential services to residents and internally displaced people, and has extensive experience cooperating with international programmes. Currently, the municipality is actively seeking partnerships and prioritising critical recovery projects focused on wastewater management, critical infrastructure, energy resilience, and public safety to ensure sustainable development.
