Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

Vorozhba municipality is a border municipality in Sumy region, located close to the russian federation. Its location creates serious security and economic challenges, but also gives the municipality importance for regional resilience and Ukraine’s recovery.

The local economy is based on agriculture, small businesses, trade, public services and infrastructure-related activities. Despite the war, the municipality preserves human potential, land resources and a strong need for reconstruction and development.
