Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Yelanets municipality is geographically located within the Dnieper Upland, featuring a rolling plain relief that is highly suitable for both agricultural and infrastructure development. The local soil cover consists primarily of fertile southern chernozems with a land quality rating of 40–44, which forms a solid foundation for a competitive agricultural sector. The territory is well-watered, possessing over 1,094 hectares of water resources, including the Hnylyi Yelanets and Hromokliia rivers, which are key tributaries within the Southern Bug and Inhul river basins.
In terms of economic and industrial potential, the municipality offers highly attractive, low-risk opportunities for investors in the building materials and manufacturing sectors. Due to its geological position on the Ukrainian Crystalline Shield, the area has rich, accessible deposits of valuable mineral resources. Specifically, there are proven local reserves of high-grade granite and limestone, as well as extensive deposits of loam and sand perfectly suited for brick production and construction manufacturing, providing a ready-to-use raw material base for new enterprises.
For international donors and partners, Yelanets municipality presents a unique environmental profile as it hosts the "Yelanetskyi Step" Nature Reserve, a critically important biogeographical zone rich in biodiversity and rare petrophytic steppes. While this unique landscape offers incredible potential for global climate adaptation and ecological research, the municipality actively seeks donor cooperation to address its historical environmental and infrastructure challenges. International partnerships are highly welcomed to support the modernization of local water supply networks, including the upgrade of artesian wells and the expansion of reverse osmosis water purification systems, alongside joint initiatives in reforestation, anti-erosion land management, and sustainable green development.
