Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Located in the northern part of Luhansk region, Svatove municipality traditionally served as an important agricultural and logistics centre for the region. Although its entire territory remains temporarily occupied and significant infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, the municipality has developed a strategic vision for post-war recovery and modernisation. It has strong potential for attracting international partners and donors due to its readiness for reconstruction, experience in implementing grant initiatives, and commitment to transparent governance. Priority areas for this future cooperation include humanitarian assistance, demining, infrastructure rehabilitation, agricultural recovery, and digital transformation. Open to international collaboration, the municipality seeks long-term partnerships aimed at rebuilding the community, strengthening resilience, and creating new economic opportunities after de-occupation.
